Greetings from Sedona Property Partners – Broker/Owners of REMAX Sedona
A reason we love living in Sedona is our central location. What’s better than spending a couple nights camping right next to water? Absolutely nothing! A good place to go is Lake Roosevelt, just three hours from Sedona, and it is a great place to go have fun with the entire family!
Lake Roosevelt has a lot to offer for all types of outdoor-sy people. If you own a boat, bring it. If you own a tube, perfect! If you have float toys, bring them too! Lake Roosevelt can be a day trip from Sedona or you can make a weekend out of it! There are places to camp on the beach or park a trailer to sleep in.
Lake Roosevelt is located in Gila County and is about 15 miles long. Lake Roosevelt is a dam created in 1911 from the Salt Lake River. Be sure to admire the amazing and creative Roosevelt Lake Bridge!
Unfortunately us here in Sedona, Arizona are landlocked…no ocean beaches for us. However, if you decide to take a trip to Lake Roosevelt, the beach is about as good as it gets for AZ!
We hope you have a phenomenal time in the clear blue waters of Lake Roosevelt — and on your trip be sure to stop into Sedona, AZ and enjoy the gorgeous Red Rocks. As far as living in beautiful red rock country, you can visit our Real Estate Website, to check out all of the property currently on the market! You can also email us or just give us a call at the Sedona RE/MAX Office at 928-282-4166 x 253.
