#46 – Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Festival
365 Reasons to Live in Sedona
October 7, 2011 12:00 pm
Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of RE/MAX Sedona…
In a month full of festivals you must be wondering; if I can only attend one festival, which should it be? We don’t have an answer to that question because each festival is astonishingly unique. But what we can tell you is that the Sedona Jazz on the Rocks Festival is Sedona’s Signature Event and an unforgettable one at that.
The weekend festival begins this evening and continues through tomorrow night. This year the stage will be set in a new location, at the Sedona Golf Resort (SGR) in the Village of Oak Creek. The 30th anniversary of Sedona Jazz on the Rocks will have the stage set on the SGR driving range with seating spread across the golf course so as the sun sets the audience will have panoramic views of shimmering Sedona Red Rocks. Musicians from all over will be making their way to perform jazz, reggae, and Latin music “on the rocks”.
How Much Does it Cost?
General admission tickets are as low as $30 but reserved “Skybox” seats are as much as $350.
New this year, there will be an after party on Saturday night held at the Canyon Moon Theater in the Oak Creek Outlet Mall where there will be additional live music and entertainment.
As residents of the Village of Oak Creek we are so excited for this year’s festival because of the new location.
