365 Reasons to Live in Sedona
October 12, 2011 12:00 pm
Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of RE/MAX Sedona…
One reason many people decide Sedona is where they want to live is the ability to hike through the wilderness. If you think Sedona is beautiful from the ground wait until you hike to the top of a Red Rock Formation and see the real breathtaking beauty. Here in Sedona we have various trails that lead hikers and bikers through red rock terrain to deserted caves, Indian ruins, vortexes, and more.
If you have a desire to put on your hiking shoes and breathe in fresh air from atop a mountain, there is no better place than Sedona AZ. With hundreds of hiking trails throughout Sedona it is best to have a “veteran” lead the way. If you are new to the area or here on vacation and would like to hike without a tour guide but need expert advice on which trails will fit your fancy than we recommend stopping by The Hike House.
How to Get There
Located at 431 State Route 179 in Hozho, just before the Tlaquepaque Bridge, The Hike House offers the unique Sedona Trail Finder a “high definition, interactive trail selection experience”. In addition to finding the perfect trail there is hiking equipment and apparel as well as the Energy Café where you can fuel up before your hike. We feel that The Hike House is a great resource for any visitor or local to gain knowledge about hiking in Sedona.
Please remember to never hike alone and to always bring more water than you think is necessary!
