Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of REMAX Sedona…
With Halloween just around the corner Sedona’s mild fall temperatures make it easy to get in the mood for one of our favorite holidays. A large part of our family’s tradition has been to go to the Sedona United Methodist Church located at the Back-O-Beyond roundabout on State Route 179 to pick a pumpkin to take home and turn it into a spooky jack-o-lantern. The pumpkin patch is open daily from 12-6pm starting on the 15th of October and open through Halloween.
If you want a more unique pumpkin picking experience the Sedona Community Pool has recently started their own festive event. It entails encouraging residents to take a dive to retrieve their ‘orange gourd’. This event takes place on October 20 from 1-3pm for a small fee of $3 and is located at 570 Posse Ground Road.
If you enjoy Halloween as much as we do post a picture of your pumpkin carving skills to our Facebook Page.
With many of you coming from parts of the country that are already colder than you would like, the thought of putting on a swimming suit and diving into a pool this close to Halloween may be a fantasy. For us here in the desert southwest, we are fortunate enough to have days during the fall where the sun is out, the skies are clear and a (heated) swimming pool is still an option.
Are you dreading a brisk fall and inevitable winter? Now may be the perfect time to find a piece of Sedona Real Estate in the warmer southwest.
