Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of REMAX Sedona…
With a large amount Latin American influence on Sedona culture we are happy to announce this year Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village will host the 2nd annual Dia de los Muertos celebration!
In the remembrance and celebration of loved ones who have passed away, many Mexican-Americans and other Latin American natives make beautiful “ofrendas” or altars filled with beautiful colorful decorations, photos flowers and more. Sedona will celebrate this tradition on October 29th from 4 – 8pm. Ofrendas made by Sedona Artists will be on display at Patio del Norte and Patio de las Campanas. The free celebration will include live flamenco music and all are invited for a theme appropriate prix-fixe dinner at El Rincon Restaurante Mexicano.
How You Can Participate
The altars will be set up for the Sedona pubic to admire from the 29th through November 1st. If you would like to participate you can add photos or material items that remind you of a loved one who has passed away.
