365 Reasons to Live in Sedona AZ
September 6, 2011 12:00 pm
Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of RE/MAX Sedona…
No doubt Sedona’s sunsets are one-of-a-kind incredible, but there is something so amazing about the way the town looks when it is lit up by a full moon.
Under the moon and stars, Sedona’s Red Rocks become even more prominent than during the day. If you have any reservation as to why you should choose to live in Sedona, just attend one of the monthly hikes lit by the moonlight and see why living in Sedona’s true beauty is one of the best decisions you could ever make.
This month’s Moonlight Hikes will be held on September 12th &13th.
How to Get There
Travel west on State Route 89A until the turnoff at Upper Red Rock Loop Road. Take the winding road down towards Oak Creek until you reach Red Rock State Park. Follow the signs to the Visitor Center.
How Much It Costs
Be sure to contact the Visitor Center at Red Rock State Park to make a reservation and pay your $5 program fee. ***Don’t forget to bring $10 (per car of 4 adults) for the entrance fee into the park on the night of the hike!
Once you take one of these hikes, you’ll undoubtedly be interested in enjoying more summer night star gazing under the pure Sedona Sky. If your hometown doesn’t give you enough of a view of the nighttime stars, maybe it’s time for a change.
