Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of RE/MAX Sedona…
Sedona’s central location is attractive to many. One thing Sedona is directly in the middle of is NFL Football. While we haven’t had a lot to cheer about in the past, the Arizona Cardinals are improving and are putting the state on the NFL map.
As preseason approaches, the Arizona Cardinals migrate up north to the cooler temperatures and the higher elevation of Flagstaff, AZ. Located just 45 minutes north of Sedona and rated by many experts as one of the best, if not the best training camp setting, we strongly urge all you NFL fans to take a trip up the hill to watch the AZ Cardinals prepare for the NFL season.
How to Get There
From Sedona, drive up north on State Route 89A, through the scenic Oak Creek Canyon, and go to the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome on the campus of NAU in Flagstaff. Map.
How to Much It Costs
There is no cost to view practice and training camp. The scrimmages do require some fee for attendance. Check out the Arizona Cardinals website for more information.
The show isn’t over once training camp ends. Sedona is also conveniently located only two hours north of the Cardinals’ home in Phoenix, AZ. It is worth the drive to see the one-of-a-kind retractable roof and playing surface at the University of Phoenix Stadium. Definitely a must see for any sports fan.
