365 Reasons to Live in Sedona AZ
September 13, 2011 12:00 pm
Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of RE/MAX Sedona…
Do you have a special interest in Native American Culture? Being a native of Arizona, Rob has experienced the culture while living as a young boy on the Navajo Reservation in Tuba City. His continued appreciation for the Native American Culture is on display with his personal collection of Kachina dolls. Stop by our office to see part of his collection.
Sedona also has plenty of Native American influence. One place that does a great job of preserving the Native American Legend and keeping the Spirit alive is the Oak Creek Indian Traders. The trading post retails genuine pieces of jewelry and art from nearby tribes such as the Apache, Hopi, Navajo, Santa Domingo, San Juan, and Zuni.
How to Get There
Drive to the Village of Oak Creek. Enter the Oak Creek Factory Outlets and make your way to the Oak Creek Indian Traders located next to The Marketplace Café.
Browse the great prices of Sedona’s most unique Native American souvenirs. Oak Creek Indian Traders carries unique pottery, jewelry, Kachina dolls and other art made by local Native Americans. Look for other areas of Native American influence in future blogs.
