Another reason we love living in Sedona – the Sedona Trolley! The Sedona Trolley brings a small-town feeling to the Sedona community. It is a friendly service that takes the residents and the tourists around town on different tours to see Sedona and the famous red rock views first hand.

Sedona Trolley rides are given on a first come, first served basis. There is no need to plan too far ahead for tickets. When boarding the trolley, you can pay your fee for the ride. Currently prices are only $15 for adults and $12 for children. There are two different tours you can take. They both take approx. 55 minutes and depart from the Uptown Depot.

Tour A travels along the south end of Sedona. It shows the famous Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village and the Gallery District. However, the main highlight of this tour would have to be the stop at the Chapel of the Holy Cross. This is a famous place in Sedona. A Chapel is built into the red rocks with amazing views of Sedona. The Sedona Trolley stops here for 15-20 minutes to let passengers explore the Chapel of the Holy Cross. If you ever get a chance to view the Chapel, don’t miss out! It is a place that everyone should see no matter what your religious beliefs are! This tour departs every two hours, starting at 12noon.

Tour B showcases the west side of Sedona before leaving town to visit Dry Creek Valley. Here, the trolley shows passengers the vistas of Boynton and Long Canyon. The Sedona Trolley brings its passengers to these destinations before traveling back into Sedona. This tour begins at 9am and deports several times a day.

The Sedona Trolley is also available to rent. Sedona Red Rock High School typically rents the trolley during graduation week to bring all of the graduates on a ride to a picnic at the creek. Big Park Elementary and West Sedona Elementary schools both rent out the trolley for special occasions as well.
