Sedona is surrounded by so many awesome opportunities to have fun! Sedona’s prime locations allows residents to be able to do just about any activity they desire, even fishing at the Page Springs Fish Hatchery. Reason to live in Sedona #126, Sedona’s location to the Page Springs Fish Hatchery where we can catch some of the largest rainbow trout around!

The Page Springs Fish Hatchery sits on 82 acres, located halfway between Sedona and Cottonwood. The scenic drive is often time used as a five mile cut across to Cornville, Page Springs Road. When driving through Page Springs, there is no way that you can miss the diverse wildlife that survives in the small area of the Coconino National Forest along the creek. The Page Springs Fish Hatchery has been open and in operation since 1938 with raceways installed in 1960.

The Page Springs Fish Hatchery is only open during the day. There is no camping at the Page Springs Fish Hatchery, however there are several surrounding placed that are available for camping year-round.  This area is known mostly for its wildlife. It has a calm atmosphere as to attract a more relaxed personality. People come here to birdwatch and seek animals. The area is prime for raccoons and skunks. There are forest rangers on call to come and rescue the animals out of the raceways and water.

The Page Springs Fish Hatchery is a fun place to bring children and family. They produce over 700,000 trout each year! If you want to experience a day with rainbow trout, go to the fish hatchery to view and catch more fish than you could imagine.

The special thing about the Page Springs Fish Hatchery, is that not only is it a fish hatchery but a scenic lookout. The wildlife in Page Springs a main attraction! You are completely enclosed in the Coconino National Forest, where the wilderness is overpowering.
