Any resident of Sedona, and visitor for that matter, knows about the fine dining experience created by owner/chef Lisa Dahl. Because Cucina Rustica or Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante Italiano are fine dining, we typically spend our special occasions at one of these restaurants. You can imagine Sedona residents’ joy when Lisa Dahl opened a more economical option to her savory dining. Pisa Lisa opened in 2013 serving decadent, authentic pizza, “primo!” salads, tapas, paninis and our favorite – galato!  

With our RE/MAX Sedona office right across State Route 89A from Pisa Lisa we often indulge in lunch to go of a chicken casear salad and hummus with flatbread.

“A little guilty pleasure I’ll share with you is that when it is my turn to pick up lunch I go a few minutes early and watch the chefs prepare and the pizza cook in the wood burning oven.” – Kaitlynn

Another favorite, besides their pizza, is their gelato! Our favorite is banana – yes it sounds weird but it tastes like a banana split. Ok, we digress – visits PisaLisa.com for hours, menu, etc!

On a side note, Lisa Dahl is also the author of her own cookbook, that you are able to pick up at any of her three restaurants. This is titled “The Elixir of Life Cookbook”- the 2011 Gold Medal IPPY cookbook of the year! We have a copy of this and although we do not do it often, it is fun to try out a recipe.
