365 Reasons to Live in Sedona

Greetings from Rob & Pam Schabatka – Broker/Owners of REMAX Sedona
Once again we have found a reason for why living in Sedona is different than anywhere else. Yes most cities have similar events but Sedona does things its own way, each festival and community event has a unique flare of Sedona style, especially our Farmers Markets!
Friday’s at Tlaquepaque have a whole new atmosphere! From 8-10:30am vendors from all around the Verde Valley gather in the creek-side marketplace to sell and trade artesian foods, local produce and handmade treasures. As live music plays and performers dance up and down the cobblestone streets, the ambiance is remarkable.
The mission of the Sedona Farmers Market is said perfectly by the founding director, Katrin Themlitz , “The market aims to support local sustainable agricultural activity and increase the supply of locally grown food. Local food is not only fresher, it also preserves genetic diversity, promotes energy conservation, supports local farm families, builds community and preserves open space”. We suggest making a special trip to the Sedona Farmers Market if you are not in the Tlaquepaque area; it truly is a naturally satisfying reason to live in Sedona, AZ.
