Sedona is home to many different religious beliefs giving Sedona a rich culture full of diversity. Today we’re featuring an event created by members at the Christ Center Wesleyan Church. This event has brought new opportunities for Sedona residents to attend a christian based evening with friends and family. It is the Faith and Family Film Festival!

The Faith and Family Film Festival launched in 2012 showing nine christian movies over a 4-day period. Currently the Faith and Family Film Festival to Sedona is doing a summer series. Three movies shown once a month at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre in West Sedona.

Being a Christian Festival, they are community focused. One way they are helping the community in a special way is donating July’s profits to House of Ruth (a pregnancy crises center). In contrast August’s showings will be free of charge…a treat for those unable to attend otherwise.

The first showing of the summer series was last Sunday. If you missed it, don’t worry! Be sure to catch the next one.

Aiming to bring the word of God to Sedona through film this festival is good for people of all different faith beliefs, or no beliefs at all. These movies demonstrate courage, bravery and a true encouragement to all who gets the chance to see them. For more info visit Film Festival website!
