Sedona receives many honorable mentions from notable sources and we are always happy to see our town’s name in print so as of September of last year, we rejoice to be told (what we already know) that Sedona has been named one of the best places to go in the world as of September 2014. Thank you USA Today’s “10 Best Places to Go!”

Since we are in our Summer season of blue skies and dry heat, let’s reminisce about Sedona’s fabulous fall! Typically September alllows us to still be in shorts and tanks but oh so much more comfortable. This is the sweet spot of the year, as all of our beloved outdoor activities become so much less sweaty!

Hiking, biking, running, playing tennis are all just a bit more fun as we come into our fall season. Also note, the month of September has an event-packed calendar starting with the annual Red Rocks music festival featuring jazz and classical musicians and then wrapping up with the Sedona Winefest (see #171 reason to live in Sedona).

USA Today also credits us with a Readers Choice award of one of the best places in the world to view the sunset. We heartily agree!
